Fun Art Activity bring imagination to life The 3rd grade students at Guru Hargobind Public School recently had a blast exploring their artistic side with a fun clay activity in art class! Under the guidance of Respected Officiating Principal Ma’am Dr. Puneeta Sharma and their art teacher. The students learned various clay techniques and brought their imaginations to life. They created colorful animals, decorative bowls, and even functional jewelry. The activity aimed to develop the students’ fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. “It’s amazing to see how engaged and focused the students were during the activity,” said Activity incharge Mrs. Gagandeep. Kaur Sandhu. “They learned a lot while having fun, which is what matters most!” The students’ clay creations will be displayed in the school hallway, showcasing their talent and creativity to the entire school community. This activity was a great way to integrate art into the curriculum and provide a unique learning experience for our 3rd-grade students. Interactive Session With An Alumni Being an alumni is a badge of honour, earned through hard work and dedication .It was really a splendid day for us when Inderjeet Singh, an alumni of G.H.G Public School visited the school today. He passed his 8th grade from GHG Public School ,Sidhwan Khurd and moved to US for higher studies .He did his Bachelors of Science and Finance from University of Texas,Dellas and pursued MBA from Texas A& M University- Commerce.He is currently working in technical field( Virtual reality and AI).In his interactive session, he highlighted about the prominence of augmented reality and immersive learning.He gives due emphasis to what we contribute to our birthplace when we reach abroad and also stressed upon the importance of public speaking.He discussed Metaverse which is an iteration of the Internet as a single, universal, and immersive virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual reality and augmented reality headsets.At last he gave message for the school that Knowledge is something that no one can take away from you. So one should be a life long learner. Students visited Science City and Rangla Punjab in Jalandhar. Students enjoyed activities like Fun Gallery, Virtual Gallery, 3D shows, Laser show, Simulator experience and special show in the Dome-Shaped Theatre etc. After observing these activities, students visited Rangla Punjab. At Rangla Punjab, students observed activities like puppet show, magic show, Pottery making and many more. Special lunch was also served to the students. In the end, DJ party was arranged for the students where they enjoyed the every beat of music and expressed their joy. Overall, it was a knowledgeable and memorable trip. Students enjoyed the trip very much and thanked to principal sir for giving them chance to gain knowledge.

Product Identification And Awareness 12thcommerce Activities help to gain broad knowledge of developing confidence among students, critical thinking and creating awareness on new concepts using learning by doing. Activity based learning make classroom environment more effective and active among students. Today, Class-XII Commerce students performed an activity on Product Identification and Awareness while purchasing any product from market. Whole class was divided into six teams. Each team brought one real product. They explained about brand name, brand mark, trade mark, packaging, labeling and consumer rights-responsibilities while purchasing the products. Through QUIZ, team answered the questions. Each team scored one mark for one question if answer was right. This will help them competitive spirit and team –cooperation. Best team got prizes. It’s like a fun game to know product concepts and identification. This quiz based activity on Product Identification and Awareness was conducted by Mr.Deepak Garg(PGT Commerce) under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr.Pawan Sood. This activity helps students to become more aware and knowledgeable when they will buy any product from the market.

Importance of school life study Class 9C students performed an act to describe the importance of school life study. This act shows that if we will not focus on our studies in school then we can not become a successful person in our life. Because after school we are not able to earn things in the perfect form that we can learn in school . This act also shows that teachers always think about the welfare and bright future of the student. It is not important to study whole day but it is important that when you sit to do study you have to concentrate on it , you should keep all your attention on your study . Dussehra celebration at Guru Hargobind Public School Dussehra the festival that marks the victory of Good Over Evil was celebrated with enthusiasm and It was held on 21st October 2023 In the school. On this special day Nursery class tiny tots celebrated this festival with class in charge, Mrs. Nitasha Sharma, under the guidance of respected Principal sir Mr. Pawan sood and primary wing coordinator Mrs. Kamini Mukkar. Craft activity was done by students of class nursery . The tiny tots got engaged in creating Ravana with colourful paper. GHG Students got Third Prize in Model Making “Only those who have the patience to do simple will acquire the skill to do difficult things easily’. To the pride of GHG Public School ,Sidhwan Khurd , two students Harmandeep Kaur and Avneet Kaur got third prize in model making competition under Math and Science Fest held at Roop Vatika Public School, Jagraon on 14th October 2023. It was organised under the banner of Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex (West) and many schools participated in this fest. Both students made working model of Flood Resistance House. Some of the most common departments at a hotel include the front desk and reservations. In this regard, a seminar was organised by the INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT (I.I.H.M) at G.H.G. Public School, Sidhwan Khurd for the students of class XII under the able guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Pawan Sood. The keynote speaker of the day was Sonia Khanna. LSSC West English Fest And Radio Jockey Held At G.H.G Public School, Sidhwan Khurd Guru Hargobind Public School under the aegis of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd organised a blithesome “English Fest and Radio Jockey” for the children of Primary, Middle and Senior Wing under the banner of Ludhiana Sahodaya School Complex (West) on 7th October 2023 in the school premises. As many as 17 schools and around 103 students became part of this event. The fest encircled a variety of activities including Story Telling, Poem Recitation, Elocution, Poster Designing, Declamation and Radio Jockey. The foremost purpose of this event was to serve as a common platform, fostering the promulgation of incalculable knowledge and experiences. The participants gave a splendid display of various activities with their stunning talent. The Chief Guest of the day was S. Manvinderbir Singh (PPS) (SP LUDHIANA Rural Punjab). GHG student grabbed two gold medals in Weight Lifting Tournament “Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.” It is rightly said that Success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable. Under the able guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Pawan Sood, one student,Gurkirat Singh of G.H.G Public School, Sidhwan Khurd participated in Punjab School District Level Weight Lifting Tournament and Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan Weight Lifting Tournament held at Naresh Chandan Stadium, Khanna on 29th September and 1st October 2023 . It is a matter of great proud that he won gold medal in both the tournaments under-17 category. He is selected for the State Level Weight Lifting Tournament. He picked 105kg weight in Clean and Jerk and 85kg in Snatch activity under weight lifting. He made national level record in Under -17 by doing such activities in weight lifting. Another student Hardev Singh secured third position in Under -17 Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan Weight Lifting Tournament.The Principal,Mr.Pawan Sood praised the students for such achievement and applauded the efforts of all the Sports teachers.
