G.H.G Public School, Sidhwan Khurd celebrated Teachers Day on 5th Sept.2023 in Morning Assembly under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Pawan Sood.Teachers’ Day is celebrated on September 5th every year in India. The date is chosen as it marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice-President of India and India’s second President. Dr Radhakrishnan was born on 5th September , 1888.On this occasion in Morning Assembly , speech was presented by Harmandeep Kaur of class 12th Com.D, Manvir Kaur of class 12th Com. B,Simranjot Kaur of class 6th B and Gurseerat Kaur of class 6th C. Harshpreet Kaur of class 12th Com. C recited a poem related to teacher. Inspirational thoughts were presented by Ekampreet Kaur of class 6th B and Gurleen Kaur of class 12th Medical. Group song was sung by the students. Ms. Tamanna Khanna(PGT Commerce )presented her views on this occasion. Mr. Deepak Garg (PGT Commerce) told a story related to teacher -student relationship. The hosts of the day was Mrs. Simrandeep Kaur(PGT English) The School Principal Mr.Pawan Sood delivered a speech and said that Teachers Day should be celebrated every year which remind us that being a teacher is a noble profession that deserves an equal amount of love and respect as any other profession and motivated the students to give regard to teachers because Teachers play a very important role in shaping the future of the students. They are the ones who impart knowledge and teach us about everything important. They also teach us about ethical values.
