Club activities assist students to cultivate a sense of unity and working with others in reaching the same goals.Under the able guidance of Principal Mr.Pawan Sood , no. of activities were organised under different Clubs for class 9th to 12th students in G.H.G.Public School, Sidhwan Khurd on 29th April,2023.

In English Literary Club, activity of Elocution was organised by Ms.Harpreet Kaur,Ms Simarpreet Kaur and Mrs.Hardeep Kaur.Elocution plays an important role in the formation, articulation and pronunciation of speech . It helps students to exhibit their oratory skills. Elocution competitions help students to develop their self-expression and confidence.In Eco and Social Service Club, activities like watering the plants and displaying the name of classes on their rooms were performed by the students under the leadership of Mrs.Gaganpreet Kaur and Ms.Prabhdeep Kaur. The purpose of this club was to inculcate the habit of social service and helping each other.In Maths Club ,Nukkad Naatak was played by the students.The purpose of the activity was to remove the phobia towards mathematics . The incharges of this club were Mrs. Parvinder Kaur,Mr.Gaurav and Mrs. Kamlesh.

Displacement Reaction, Precipitation Reaction, Indicator activity was organised in Science Club.The purpose of this activity was the understanding of chemical changes, enhancing the learning through experiments .The incharges of this club were Mr.Vishal Kumar, Mr.Basant Singh, Mrs.Aarti Sharma and Mrs.Rishika Mehta.In Art and Craft Club ,still life with pencil shading,air blow painting,thread painting and printing activities were organised by Ms. Ramandeep Kaur, Mrs.Harkamalpreet Kaur and Ms.Sandeep Kaur.The purpose of this activity was to increase interest of students in creativity.In Drama Club, educational drama was played by the students under the guidance of Mrs. Charanjeet Kaur and Mr. Basant Singh.In Music and Religious Club ,brief description about the elements of Music and basic harmonium sargam with brief illustration of voice and pitch was taught by the Club Incharges Mr.Hargobind, Mrs.Jiwan Kaur and Mrs.Gagandeep Kaur Dhillon.In Dance Club, group dance,bhangra ,giddha were performed by the students under the guidance of Ms.Nitasha Bansal ,Mrs.Karamjit Kaur and Mrs Simarjeet Kaur .The purpose of this club was to enhance dancing skills,confidence and boost up energy. In ICT club( Robotics) activities likedevelop static pages (Website),animation using scratch, make familiar with all options of excel( advanced) was organised by Ms.Raman Dhaliwal and Mrs Beant Kaur .The purpose of this club was to enhance the computer skills among the students.In Sports club , Handball activity was organised by Dr.Rajinder Kaur.Passing and shooting drills,relaxation and meditation were done to teach the students about Basics of Games and Benefits of Meditation.The Principal of the school encouraged the efforts of all the teachers and motivated the students to participate in these activities.
