Fun Art Activity bring imagination to life

The 3rd grade students at Guru Hargobind Public School recently had a blast exploring their artistic side with a fun clay activity in art class! Under the guidance of Respected Officiating Principal Ma’am Dr. Puneeta Sharma and their art teacher. The students learned various clay techniques and brought their imaginations to life. They created colorful animals, decorative bowls, and even functional jewelry. The activity aimed to develop the students’ fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. “It’s amazing to see how engaged and focused the students were during the activity,” said Activity incharge Mrs. Gagandeep. Kaur Sandhu. “They learned a lot while having fun, which is what matters most!” The students’ clay creations will be displayed in the school hallway, showcasing their talent and creativity to the entire school community. This activity was a great way to integrate art into the curriculum and provide a unique learning experience for our 3rd-grade students. We can’t wait to see what other creative projects they’ll work on this year!

STUDENT OF G.H.G PUBLIC SCHOOL SIDHWAN KHURD GOT EXCELLENT RESULT IN CBSE 10TH CLASS EXAMINATION

Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice and is never the result of normal work. With immense pleasure, GHG PUBLIC SCHOOL, Sidhwan Khurd feels proud to share that class X (SSE 2023-24) ) hence proved excellence in academics. Sukhmandeep Singh Gill scored 94% marks, Jaismeen Kaur Mann got 93.4% and Paramveer Singh Buttar got 93%. These students respectively got 1st, 2nd and 3rd position. Besides these three toppers,3 more students scored more than 90% .Rajvir Kaur Dhillon scored 92.8% , Mankirat Singh Kalsi got 92.6% and Harnoor Kaur Toor got 92.2% . Total 114 students got 1st division. In this regard, worthy trust members of S.G.H.G.U. Hari Trust ,President S. B. S. Sidhu (Retd. D.G.P), S. With immense pleasure, we feel great to share that Session 2023-24 has brought in marvellous results in  class-XII (SSCE-2023-24), hence proved excellence in Academics. In the Commerce Stream, Harmandeep Kaur of 12 Commerce-C topped the school with 96. 2%, Harmandeep Kaur of Class 12 Commerce-D secured second position with 95.2 % and Simranjit Kaur of Class 12 Commerce-C secured the third position with 94.2%. In Medical stream, Gurleen Kaur secured first position with 94.2 %, Pawanpreet kaur secured second position with 93.2% and Jaimeen Kaur got third position with 91.2%. In Arts Stream, Harnoor Kaur scored 1st position in the school with 91 %, Gurnoor Kaur Sanghera secured 2nd position with 87.6% and Jagmeet Singh Sidhu got 3rd position with 76.8%.In Non-Medical, Manraj Singh Toor scored 1st position with 82.4%, Abhayjeet Singh secured 2nd position with 81.6% and Ravijot Sharma secured 3rd position with 79.6%.In this regard, worthy trust members of S.G.H.G.U. Being an alumni is a badge of honour, earned through hard work and dedication .
It was really a splendid day for us when Inderjeet Singh, an alumni of G.H.G Public School visited the school today. He passed his 8th grade from GHG Public School ,Sidhwan Khurd and moved to US for higher studies .He did his Bachelors of Science and Finance from University of Texas,Dellas and pursued MBA from Texas A& M University- Commerce.He is currently working in technical field( Virtual reality and AI).In his interactive session, he highlighted about the prominence of augmented reality and immersive learning.He gives due emphasis to what we contribute to our birthplace when we reach abroad and also stressed upon the importance of public speaking.He discussed Metaverse which is an iteration of the Internet as a single, universal, and immersive virtual world that is facilitated by the use of virtual reality and augmented reality headsets.At last he gave message for the school that Knowledge is something that no one can take away from you. So one should be a life long learner. Mr.Pawan Sood , Principal of the school appreciated his endeavours and gave token of thanks to him.The faculty members Ms Harpreet Kaur, Ms Ramandeep Kaur Dhaliwal and Mrs Rishika were associated with this program .

The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline,a secular outlook,the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens.G.H.G.Public School feels proud to announce that Ramjapji Singh student of class 8thB was shortlisted to participate in Republic Day Camp going to be held in January,2024. For the final selection, There were total five camps to clear for RDC and our school has pride that Ramjapji had cleared four camps out of 5 camps. He may not be selected for the final camp but It is a matter of great gratification and in the history of 19 Bn NCC Ludhiana,that Ramjapji attended so many camps and given his best .Principal Mr.Pawan Sood congratulated him for his selection and future progress.

“Travel opens your heart, broadens your mind and fills your life with stories to tell.” Under the able guidance of Respected Principal, Mr. Pawan Sood, educational trip was organised for the students of 9th and 10th on 30th Nov 2023. A group of 176 students joined the trip along with teachers Mr. Basant Singh, Mr. Harmandeep Singh, Mr. Gaurav, Mr. Deepak Garg, Mrs. Kamlesh and Mrs. Parvinder Kaur. Students visited Science City and Rangla Punjab in Jalandhar. Students enjoyed activities like Fun Gallery, Virtual Gallery, 3D shows, Laser show, Simulator experience and special show in the Dome-Shaped Theatre etc. After observing these activities, students visited Rangla Punjab. At Rangla Punjab, students observed activities like puppet show, magic show, Pottery making and many more. Special lunch was also served to the students. In the end, DJ party was arranged for the students where they enjoyed the every beat of music and expressed their joy. Overall, it was a knowledgeable and memorable trip. Students enjoyed the trip very much and thanked to principal sir for giving them chance to gain knowledge.

12thcommerce Activities help to gain broad knowledge of developing confidence among students, critical thinking and creating awareness on new concepts using learning by doing. Activity based learning make classroom environment more effective and active among students. Today, Class-XII Commerce students performed an activity on Product Identification and Awareness while purchasing any product from market. Whole class was divided into six teams. Each team brought one real product. They explained about brand name, brand mark, trade mark, packaging, labeling and consumer rights-responsibilities while purchasing the products. Through QUIZ, team answered the questions. Each team scored one mark for one question if answer was right. This will help them competitive spirit and team –cooperation. Best team got prizes. It’s like a fun game to know product concepts and identification. This quiz based activity on Product Identification and Awareness was conducted by Mr.Deepak Garg(PGT Commerce) under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir Mr.Pawan Sood. This activity helps students to become more aware and knowledgeable when they will buy any product from the market.
