India is celebrating its 77th year of Independence on August 15th, 2023.Keeping in mind the importance of Independence day ,G.H.G Public School Sidhwan Khurd celebrated Independence day on 14th August, 2023 under the guidance of our Respected Principal Sir, Mr. Pawan Sood. The celebration of Independence day is incomplete without remembering our freedom fighters.In this regard, a small function was organised in morning assembly in which ,Manjoban Kaur presented a beautiful poem on the topic “My Nation” and Khushpreet Kaur delivered a speech in English language ,Harman Kaur also presented a speech in Punjabi language on Independence day. Some students presented a melodious patriotic song. NCC Cadets of our school 19BN Boys Ludhiana and 5Punjab Girls Bn NCC Moga participated in Poster and Chart making competition under the guidance of Mr.Vishal (NCC incharge) and prepared posters, charts related to Indepedance day and showed their creativity.The stage was conducted by Ms.Harpreet Kaur and she also presented a short speech related to Independence Day. We must celebrate such kinds of days which are essential to awaken the feeling of patriotism among students.
