Traffic rules are rules issued by the traffic police to prevent accidents or to drive safely on the road.Following the road safety rules alongside safety in daily life helps us stay safe. In this regard,G.H.G Public School, Sidhwan Khurd organised ‘Seminar on Traffic Rules ‘ for classes 8th,9th and 11th on 26thJuly 2023 under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr.Pawan Sood. S.Kirpal Singh Bhathal, Manager ,S.G.H.G.Ujagar Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd was also present in the Seminar .Mr.Gurwinder Singh(PPS) DSP Traffic, Jagraon was the Keynote speaker of the day. He delivered a speech on Road Safety Awareness and shared his valuable views with the students.He discussed various points in order to avoid accidents , told the importance of discipline in student’s life and gave the knowledge regarding traffic signals to students.The transport staff was also present in the seminar . DSP Sir made them aware about all the stringent rules and regulations they need to abide by.The stage secretary of the day was Ms Harpreet Kaur. At the end, award of honour was presented to today’s speaker by the Principal. The Principal thanked the Keynote speaker for sparing his valuable time to enlighten the students about importance of traffic rules and also explained the necessity of traffic awareness among the students .He encouraged them to follow the traffic rules in their life.Overall it was an enriching awareness programme that assisted students to get familiar with all the penalties that can be imposed if they don’t adhere to the traffic rules.
