Public speakers are leaders who are able to inspire their audience to work harder to achieve their goals.A mastery of public speaking allows you to relate to the audience and gain their trust. As a skilled public speaker, you become likable and believable, and you will be able to inspire and even entertain the crowd.In this regard,G H.G Public School, Sidhwan Khurd organised a seminar on ‘Effective Public Speaking’ by JCI Ludhiana City on 10thJune,2023 in school premises under the guidance of Respected Principal Sir,Mr.Pawan Sood.The Key Speakers of the day were JC Baljeet Kaur and JC Tajinder Singh .The Principal of the school welcomed both the eminent personalities and introduced them to faculty members. JC Baljeet Kaur is serving as Principal in Waheguru Public School and She is also part of the School Management Committee.She joined JCI in 2018 .She is currently serving as Senior VP Training and Zone Ambassador Prayas. JC Tajinder Singh is running his own IT Company named Evolvan Info Solutions Private Limited.He joined JCI in 2018.His vision is to extend the opportunities provided by JCI within JCI’s constitution and policies. During the seminar, number of points were discussed like depiction of cartoon characters, introduction in creative form , benefits of public speaking ,types of speech ,symptoms of physical stress, strategies to remove stage fear like mask draw etc were done.All the teachers performed enthusiastically in different kinds of activities and learnt many things to improve themselves. In this seminar, certificates were given to all the participants. Ms.Gurmit Kaur, Mrs.Sarbjit kaur, Mrs. Rekha Chopra were selected as the best Public Speakers by the Key Speakers and trophies were given to them. The Programme Coordinators of the seminar were Ms.Tamanna Khanna and Ms. Harpreet Kaur. The Principal of the school thanked both the Key speakers for sparing their valuable time to enlighten the teachers with different methods to improve public speaking without fear.
