Students often face hardships in choosing the right career path due to the endless career opportunities available to them. In such situations, career counselling programme helps them to find the most suitable career options after analysing their strengths, interests and other important factors.In this regard,G.H.G Public School, Sidhwan Khurd organised a seminar on Career Counselling on 6th June ,2023 in Library Hall of the school under the guidance of respected Principal Sir, Mr. Pawan Sood.The Key speakers of the day were CA Balpreet Malwa (alumni of the school) and CA Manpreet Kaur . The Principal of the school welcomed both the eminent personalities and introduced C.A Balpreet Malwa to the students as an alumni of the school who topped school in 2008 session . Being an alumni of the school,CA Balpreet Singh wanted to guide the students about the career options after commerce stream and he motivated the students to choose CA as a career .The Key speakers addressed the students of class X and XII and gave them an overview of the career options available after Class XII Commerce. Various opportunities in the field of Chartered Accountancy were covered. CA aspirants were also guided about the different levels of CA, how to clear the CA foundation in the first attempt, how many hours to study to become a successful CA, how to choose the right institute for CA coaching, etc. The program coordinators for today’s seminar were Mrs.Charanjit kaur and Ms Tamanna Khanna .At the end the principal of the school thanked both the Key speakers for sparing their valuable time for enlightening the students about different career options
