To imbibe the sense of morality and make the educators familiarized with the code of conduct to be adhered to, an informative and enriching seminar was organized at Guru Hargobind Public Senior Secondary School today under the guidance of Principal Mr Pawan Sood.The key speaker of the day was Dr Shweta Dhand, Principal Law College, Sidhwan khurd. The seminar began with a genial welcome of the resource person. She highlighted the key ethics that every mentor must be aware of. Dr Shweta also guided the faculty members to be ethical towards different interest groups and stakeholders like students, parents, community and organization. The most striking feature stressed was that contentment is important in profession. Dr Shweta recommended every teacher to be punctual and adopt the principle of ” Praise in Public and criticize in private ” for their learners. She also pondered into the crucial transformation from teacher centered to child centered educational process. Dr Shweta deems that in the contemporary times teacher’s main role is to act as a facilitator for her students. A token of appreciation was presented to the resource person. Principal Mr.Pawan Sood thanked the guest of the day and applauded her endeavours .
