Book fairs are organised in schools to create the interest of children to pick up books of their choice. Keeping in mind this ,a book exhibition was organized in School library of Guru Hargobind Public School Sidhwan Khurd on 27th May, 2023 for Primary wing and Middle wing ,under the able guidance of our Respected Principal Mr. Pawan Sood.Total 86 students bought different kinds of books in this exhibition.Our School librarian staff (Mrs.Pardeep Kaur Kehal and Mr.Sarbjit Singh) distributed books among students according to their choice so that they can read these books during summer vacations and get good guidance and knowledge. The book exhibition was organized by Mrs.Chetna (Scholastic Private Limited).The Principal encouraged all the children to develop the habit of reading books and he also appreciated the efforts of the librarian staff and encouraged them to organise such kinds of exhibitions in future also because Book fair helps in inculcating reading habit among students of all age groups. It is actually a paradise for book lovers.
